Identity Card

It is mandatory for every student to wear identity card inside the campus.

No Smoking

The entire college campus is declared as a non-smoking zone. Hence smoking is prohibited inside the college campus.

Dress Code

Students should wear neat and decent dress. Wearing “T” shirts, banians, shorts, sleeveless shirts, short tops, leggings and any other types of tight fitting clothes are prohibited.

Cellphone/Keeping/ using cell phone inside the campus is prohibited.

Ragging – An Offence

Ragging is strictly prohibited. Ragging in any form, any place or time is a cognizable offence.

Extract of Tamil Nadu Govt. Gazette – Extra ordinary dt. 29 .01.1997 (Bill No. 8 at 1997 Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Ragging Act).

  1. Ragging means display of noisy, disorderly conduct, doing any act which causes or is likely to cause psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or scheme or embarrassment to a student in any educational institution and includes:
      • (a) Teasing, abusing or playing practical jokes on or causing hurt to such student.   
      • (b) Asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not, in the ordinary course willingly act or perform.
  2. Ragging within or outside any educational institution is prohibited.
  3. Whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates, abets or propagates “Ragging” within or outside any educational institution, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and shall be liable to a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.

Any student convicted of an offence under section 4 shall also be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution.

Parent – Teacher’s Meet

Parent of every student must attend the parent-teacher meeting at the end of every semester and ascertain the performances of their wards.
